Last nights build 2008-04-24 can't login

I have been running the past few night builds with no issues both locally and online. I have just updated my online install to last night build 2008-04-24, when it got to the point where it usually says its about to setup the zenphoto tables and to 'GO' it asked for a username and password. I put in my admin username and password but it said it was incorrect. tried a few times and then requested a reset, was able to do this but when I try to login to admin it says its incorrect? I then rolled back to the previous nights build but still have the same problem.

Did have a similar problem with a build in March which you fixed.

Thanks

  • This really has me beat. I installed the same 2008-04-24 build locally on 2 different installations and the upgrade went perfectly no problems at all.

I tried re-installing 2008-04-24 build online again but still the same problem.

Any ideas, all I can think of is to empty the admin tables on the DB, not the end of the world I guess.
  • I've had that problem and found it was missed files from recent build that didn't get uploaded, so had two different builds. Didn't do last night's as developers don't seem to be around and not sure if my fix was fixed (slideshow).

(I removed ALL except album folder/cache folder/theme styles* and zp-config.php and started over which worked for me when it happened.)

*mine are customized so I do a match for differences instead
  • @macalter - Thanks for responding

I ended up removing all files except album and cache and reinstalled the same build but still had the same problem, so I took the plunge and emptied the admin tables in the DB and that did the trick, of course I had to enter all my gallery settings again but it didn't really take long.

Annoying thing is that I use the the MAMP environment on the Mac locally for doing all my zenphoto testing, changing themes and css before I put it live on-line, so I updated the build on 3 different installs with no problems before I applied it online. I guess you are right about a file not updating correctly, I think because the updating is so easy I have got a little blasé:-)

Yes my themes are customised too, as are my css. I use BBEdit to find theme differences, I also keep a list of all my changes.
