ZenphotoThe simpler media website CMS
As previously mentioned, we use User Groups (plug in) on ZP 1.6.8 to provide basic allocation to Albums. Not all Admins want alerting on comments, so the default is that an album manager does NOT get alerted to comments and there is a separate "Comment Manager" role (with some Admins being both 'Album Manager (Road)' and 'Comment Manager' for example)
For 13 out of 14 Admins this works fine. For the final one, ZP appears to create a superfluous template called "Comment Manage" (note the missing last letter) and puts them in that one. If you remove them from there and put them back in "Comment Manager" (group) then within ten minutes they are back in the template...
I've deleted the template using ZP Back End; within ten minutes it's back again! I've gone into PHP MySQL directly and found "users" called 'Comment Manager' and 'Comment Manage' but have not yet plucked up the courage to delete the latter.
Any suggestions?

Comment manager is not one of the default templates so I cannot really help.
Check the rights assigned if there are any conflicts as several rights by groups are joined and may be overpowered by superior ones.
I suggest to try to create a special group template that maybe includes both album and comment rights. Not tried this as I personally almost never use groups…
You shosuld never directly delete things like tis via the db because there are interconnetions with other tables and the album assignments are stored elsewhere. You create garbage and orphaned content that way that even may confuse things. That it takes a bit may be the result of a larger site.
