Readin the instructions in the readme and when I navigate to the setup url I just get this

There are no instructions in the readme, how do you install this thing?

Your server has a permissions problem. Normally Zenphoto sets these and create the zp-data folder but it cannot on your server. You have to do set the permissions manually. Please see:

OK, I addressed this but but I get this:

Also, when I try to go to http://www.goodfreephotos.com/index.php , all it does is redirect me to the setup page. What do I do?

Then Zenphoto for some reason thinks it is not installed, what does it report then?
Btw, on the link you posted Zenphoto is not involved at all.

The link I posted is to my zen photo setup file. It says it installed the tables but its not recognizing the installation.

This installation is weird, it doesn't ask me to setup admin options during the install

If you installed Zenphoto directly under http://www.goodfreephotos.com how do you think that will work if there is already a site? IF I go to http://www.goodfreephotos.com/index.php I get your - I assume- old site.
As you surely know you can only have one index.php file per directory. This might be reason of your issues. You have to decide what to use in the root.

I think I finally got it to install right. Hoepfully the session errors didn't cause the installation to go bad.
