Using Zenphoto version 1.4.4.1 [596740f651] (Official build)
zpFocus_ v1.4.4
My search results page does not display the album thumbs or links to the album. A text block shows the number of results, but not albums.
Pages, News, Images all display.
In the options: album matches should be returned. The Zenpage theme search works like I need it to and I have tried to change the Zpfocus search.php without positive results.
This is the album portion of the template used in Zpfocus:

Please escape the code properly. We cannot read it this way. IF it works in Zenpage and not zpfocus something is not right in that theme. You really should put the name of 3rd party tools to hte topic title. See below the form... I have done that for you.

Just tested on latest zpFocus version, and seems to be working fine for me. Make sure you are returning albums in the search options. Also make sure you are not unknowlingly searching 'within' instead of 'new'?

zpFocus_ v1.4.4 (3-6-2013 update)(no customizations).
I am returning albums in the search options. And searching New. Options: "And", Content, Description, Tags (partial) and Title.
When I use the search bar with a single term or a tag from the tag suggest list, the search results page returns, for example: "Album Search Results(1)" in the blockhead and "Image Search Results(14)". The images display, but no albums. This particular example is suppose to return a subalbum, but I get the same results if it is a parent album. Pages or news work just fine.
Could there be something stored in the database from an old version of Zpfocus causing this? Also, whenever I upgrade Zenphoto, I have the "admin menu" to work with on the included themes, but as soon as I activate Zpfocus it disappears. The call is in the template, but it does not show in the source code of the pages and obviously isn't there. This has been an issue through many upgrades.
If it is an error in the database, what should I remove?

Yes, the admin menu should work fine as well...

I would completely delete the zpfocus folder on your server and reupload the most updated version (note - I am releasing an update probably tomorrow for all my themes, to include support for a new slideshow plugin).

Also check your server logs for any errors or warnings.

Do you have a link to demonstrate your issue? I cannot see your profile website....

I have deleted the folder many times on the server. No errors or warnings. I have used Zpfocus for years with the same database. I can provide a link, but at the moment I switched backed to the original zpFocus_ v1.4.4, with my customizations, because the 3-6-2013 version behaved the same. Do I include a link to my search page or site in a post?

Just post your site link, you always should when reporting an issue.

@gjr: Question: Can you see the profiles of users as a "normal" forum user? If so it would be enough to attach the site there.
ANd I am curious about the new slideshow plugin (I plan one for Cycle2 but too less time for all plans...).

@acrylian: The only thing I can see in another user's profile are lists of recent entries and topics started, nothing else.

Your Zenphoto version is out-of-date. Other than that, I have no idea. You've got a lot going on there in your customizations....

@gjr: Interesting plugin. Cycle2 (our slideshow uses Cycle1 currently) would be responsive as well. I guess I should subscribe to your rss...-)
And thanks for the info about profiles. I thought all logged in could see those. Maybye we should reanable the link on the user name for loggedin users.

I am still having the issue with albums not showing on the search results page.
I have reinstalled zenphoto and zpfocus many times.
Copied my original database to test. Deleted the zp_plugin_storage, zp_options, zp_menu, zp_captcha and zp_administrators tables. Run setup. No customizations to the theme except disabling the slideshow. The only plugins enabled are the default plugins and zenpage. I am returning albums in the search options. And searching New. Options: "And", Content, Description, Tags (partial) and Title.
I have tried different things for about a week. I am totally lost as what the issue might be. I even tried an empty database in a subfolder. Still the same results. I thought it might be plugins or options. That is why I deleted the tables, but that didn't help either.
I use Google Chrome as my browser. Cleared the cache.
The only errors just happened today after I reinstalled everything.

DId you enable album results actually? Are the albums published or protected?
Does it happen only in zpFocus? If it does it gives the theme developer a clue.

If you talking about the search options all the Do not return matches are unchecked. All the albums are published and not protected. Yes it only happens in zpFocus.
