Moving the installation to another directory - tosca - 2013-08-28
I hope to be ready soon - at last! - to move my Zenphoto gallery in its future place; domain name will remain the same, but the root folder will be different.
I think this should go smoothly for all the 'gallery part'. But what about pages and news that link to albums, images or other pages? Unless I'm mistaken, it seems all the links are absolute (they include the site root folder). Will I have to change everything manually, or is there some tool to do that?

It should go smoothly, but be sure you install the current support build. There are some bugs fixed in the "portable url" handling. Also, naturally, be sure that setup is run from the new install.
You may want to visit your news and pages items and re-save them to update the database to the new links. Otherwise the links have to be reprocessed each time the page is loaded.
