replace an existing image - jasperkolbrink - 2013-11-12 I'm trying ZenPhoto 1.4.5.7 as an intranet facebook. We use unique filenames for our workers, for example John_Doe.jpg. If we don't have a photo of this person, we use a dummy with a questionmark. Still, the filename remains the same: John_Doe.jpg. A few days later, the picture of John has been made. Now we would like to replace it, ofcourse within the admin backoffice. I see move/copy/rename/delete options within the utilities, but how can I simply replace the picture with a new uploaded one? With best regards, replace an existing image - acrylian - 2013-11-12 If you upload via the backend it is currently not possible to replace an image with the same name to avoid accidents. You would have to upload via FTP to replace it. replace an existing image - sbillard - 2013-11-12 You can, of course, do one of these two things: Upload under a different filename (or to a different folder) then delete the old image and rename (or move) the new one using the Zenphoto back-end or First delete the old image, then upload the new one. Depending on how you "know" the workers, you might also just not have an image and setup the default "missing image" to be the stand-in you use. That assumes your image display is working from a know list of workers rather than by discovering their image in the album. |
