Dreamhost PHP 5.2 Upgrades Feb 19th - thinkdreams - 14-02-2007
Just a quick note to everyone who is on Dreamhost:
They have rescheduled the upgrade to PHP 5.2 for Feb 19th. So anyone using Mediawiki, Zencart, or Wordpress needs to upgrade to the latest versions. They had hosed my Zen Cart installation the other night when they did their initial upgrades, and they had to revert back all their customers to the older PHP version because they broke a whole bunch of things.
I don't know if this will affect Zenphoto, as Tristan is pretty good about his compatibility in his code with newer version of PHP, but I wanted everyone to be aware of when this is happening.

I have not tested with PHP 5.2, and I may not get a chance... I'll try though. Theoretically, it should work fine. :-)

Well, they already bumped both of my accounts with them to PHP 5.2 and then back again, and zenphoto was working fine throughout, so I would suspect it will be OK.
