when flag_thumbails is enabled, with standard_grid layout for home page and gallery, the star is not on the new pictures.

This is working for me on my development version, maybe it was broken on an earlier version I don't know. I will post my development version when I get the news breadcrumb thing worked out from your other post. Thanks -
