I have photos seperately tagged with 'Dad' and 'Grandad', using search for 'Dad' finds both sets of photos. How can I search for just those photos tagged 'Dad' ?

Use try quotes on the search term as you would on e.g. Google. You can also change Options > Search > Search behaviour settings > Tag matching to "exact"
