Hi,
short question:
Should i use mysql8 or stay with 5.7 for zenphoto 1.6?

We have sadly no access to MySQL 8 for testing. Our own server is on MariaDB 10.5.23 and our local MAMP enviroment on MySQL 5.7.
I think I read with MySQL 8 MySQL stops even to be directly compatible with MariaDB.
You can test it so we know it. But we won't be able to fix it.

Hi,
on my testing site i tried mysql 8 - without problems so far.
For the live site i will go with 5.7 - if you are unsure that there is no 100% compatibility.
