Best way to organize externally generated video thumbnails in Zenphoto? - alishawinson - 13-06-2026 Hi, I use Zenphoto mainly for managing photo albums, but recently I've started adding short video previews to some galleries. The videos themselves are edited outside Zenphoto using CapCut for mac, and I generate thumbnail images before uploading everything to my server. I'm trying to find the cleanest way to organize these files so that: The thumbnail image appears as the gallery preview At the moment I'm manually creating albums and uploading the thumbnails and videos separately, but I'm wondering if there is a recommended workflow or plugin for this type of media organization. How are other Zenphoto users handling mixed photo/video galleries? Thanks for any suggestions. RE: Best way to organize externally generated video thumbnails in Zenphoto? - acrylian - 13-06-2026 Zenphoto supports mp4/m4a video file if you enable the class-textobject, class-anyfile and class-video plugins. In any case you have to upload a sidecar image aka video thumb that you created from the video additionally. Zenphoto cannot extract images from videos itself. You can select on every album which thumb should represent it as the album thumb. EDIT: You should only need to enable the class-video plugin of course. (confused myself with some internal re.structuring for the next releaseā¦). |
