Install problem - album & cache permissions - Lance - 2008-01-10
During the install I have come up with the following error. I am brand new to all this and I am unable to find any solution. Thanks for any help.
albums folder [albums is not writeable and setup could not make it so]
Change the permissions on the albums folder to be writable by the server (chmod 777 albums)
cache folder [cache is not writeable and setup could not make it so]
Change the permissions on the cache folder to be writable by the server (chmod 777 cache)
You need to address the problems indicated above then run setup.php again.

Your server has not granted zenphoto the ability to write to the albums and cache folders which is required. Further more, setup was not allowed to change these permissions so that zenphoto could write to those folders.
You can try using FTP to change the permissions on those two folders. Set them to 777 or read, write, and execute for everyone.
If you cannot do this, contact your ISP and ask them for help.
