I would love to see picnik api integration. I've used it with images stored on box.net, and it's incredibly quick and easy to use. It'll never replace photoshop, but for quick edits, it's brilliant.

Integrating a 3rd party solution could save developers the energy (and code bloat) of integrating crop, rotate, and other features.

I'd be willing to contribute money toward the development of this feature...

Can you provide a link to the API? From what I can tell, picnik is its own web app that uses other people's APIs. That is, picnik doesn't seem to provide an API for third parties to use so they can access their service.
