it is a very nice work but few fixes will make it even better and close to be stable

1- slideshow need to be adjusted and make it work fine on IE 7 and IE6

2- the control buttons i thing needs to be on top of the image displaying permanently

2- all other functions strings should be in the themes already such as print album and so on

3- the ability to change the size of the video from admin

it is very nice project but few things needed

may be few more month with serious work on it will make it perfect.

First, just to mention it, the nightly build is the development verison that will become the next official version some day. So it's natural that not everything is working correctly.

1. We know about that and we are working on it. As a Mac user I don't have any IE, so that will have to wait until the developer(s) who uses Windows will have the time to take care of it. In the meanwhile try a "real" browser like Firefox..:-)

2. Well. I don't agree...:-)

3. No, they shouldn't. These plugins provide additional functions, not every user will want to use. So why should we clutter the themes with all that functions that are actually optional. It's really not that hard to add a function to your theme.

We are working serious, but keep in mind we do this as volunteers in our free time. Of course we will never match the needs of anyone. Things you might want other users might not want.

may be the ability to translate the " next nightly build" will be a good idea as well by having a language folder with english language file than we can copy the file and make another translated one.

The "carousel" if you refer to the jQuery addition is something that can be done within a theme. There is already a theme that uses it, please see this thread: http://www.zenphoto.org/support/topic.php?id=2571&replies=44#post-15357

We will have translation capability based on gettext in the next official version (though it's not clear when that will be out). We will then post a translation tutorial, too. Our lead developer sbillard will be on vacation the next two weeks, so don't expect the new version this month. Developement will surely slow down this next two weeks.

Of course your feedback and that of everyone else is welcome, but please understand that we can not and will not fullfill all wishes..:-) If you really want a feature please open a ticket on our bugtracker for it. It will then be added to our poll to see the general interesst.
