I have a dreamhost one click install implementation of zenphoto which I was a bit unsure of, because I was unhappy that I couldn't get into the code - and ha! Here crops up a problem.

Once a photo has been rated, it cannot be rated again - by anyone.. That's not right, is it?? Do I have to give people logins or something?

Actually the rating stores the IP of a rater in the database, so that this rater should not be able to rate again, but others with other IPs should be able to do so.

Just in case there is indeed a bug, could you sent a link to an image that has been rated again. If I can rate, everything works as expected. Thanks.

Any luck getting a chance to look at this prob? Don't wish to hassle, but I need the ratings facility - should I do a manual install? Would that make a blind bit of difference?

We did some tests yesterday and cannot exactly reproduce it. So, yes, please try a manual install before we investigate any further.
