I've run a strange problem with slideshows in zenphoto 1.2. I added a sub album today and now jquery slideshows aren't working correctly.

If I navigate to the sub album and click the view slideshow link the slide show runs normally. Unfortunately, in of my main albums when I click view slideshow I see two images on the screen at once and the show stalls there. If I turn off descriptions slideshows run normally but the after the second image is shown the word undefined is displayed under the image where the description would normally be.

I've reproduced the error in Firefox 3.0.1 and Opera 9.52 and IE 7.

I can reproduce the "undefined". This must be related with the recent progressive preloading somehow, we will try to look into that.

OK thanks, in the mean time I'm going to switch my slideshows to flash/flowpayer.

The "undefined" issue is fixed in 2264. The two images issue I can't reproduce, but I saw on your site that you are using a special jQuery cycle effect. Could you please try just fade out/in? Maybe your browser does not work well with the choosen effect

Cool, I just tried it using the default fade effect... same issue... the slide show plays fine with descriptions turned off. With descriptions turned on though this what I see http://www.jasetaro.com/downloads/zenphoto_slideshow_error_ff3.jpg in every album except one.

I'm seeing the same thing with IE7, Firefox 3.0.1, Opera 9.52 and Safari 3.1.2 on two different systems.

I am sorry, I can't reproduce the issue. Please try the nightly if you haven't already. Slideshow plugin should have version 1.0.6.3.

Ok, no worries. The nightly build does fix the "undefined" issue but the double image issue is still there. I'm just going to leave descriptions turned off and not worry about it.

Could you please try tonight's nightly (or svn 2279 or newer)? My fellow dev krainbolt came up with a fix that probably fixes your issue.

Sierra Hotel! Bravo Zulu guys, I installed the latest nightly build this morning and the slideshows are working properly.

I have the same problem, two images below each other are loaded and shown, thats all...
Some albums are working, some not, one who isn't working:

I downloaded the trunk from 26-08 and by reading above posts i hoped the problem was gone... Not...

Please install the full nightly. The nightly's slideshow uses some js_encoding functions that were introduced after 1.2.

I can reproduce this problem in the nightly build when spaces are in the directory name. I'm working on a solution.

This has been fixed in tonights nightly build.
