Possible cache issues - snkhan - 11-03-2006

Hello,

Thank you, for creating this wonderful program :-) Anyway, am unsure whether I am experiencing a browser related issue or a genuine cache problem (bought about by the gallery).

I've noticed with several zenPhoto galleries that the thumbnail images fail to load initially, and then 'jump around' in the order, which often means that the thumbnails do not necessarily link to the correct full size image. Sometimes, the same thumbnail will appear more than once on the index grid. The grid holding the thumbnails also collapses in on itself, and numerous refreshes are required to correct it.

I've deleted my cache and cookies, and the problem still persists, can anyone shed any light - or even acknowledge that this is a known bug.

Thanks,

Saj

Any ideas guys?

I think it's just a problem with the stylesheets...

I just thought of something else it could be. Can you give me the names of all files (not titles, but filenames) in an album that has this problem? Could be a bug I just thought of...

Hi Tristan,

I think I came accross the possible cause of the problem too ...

All files are named IMGxxxx.JPG

So I guess this might be causing the error. If you want to have a better look, see my gallery:

Having re-checked with a variety of browsers, it seems Internet Explorer is the only browser which is not collapsing the ''s or 'jumping' the thumbnails.

Can anyone verify on Safari?
