Turn mod_rewrite off - sabistar - 2009-12-30 I tried to update my Zenphoto and now my website is down. Shows this error: The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@blabla.ca and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. I found that it could be that my server does not support mod_rewrite. I haven't found how to turn it on by the server, so I'm wondering if I could edit a file to manually turn it off. I can't even get to the Admin part of Zenphoto, same message.. I really screwed it up. Thanks, (actually I found a post here saying "try turning modrewrite off in the zp-config.php ". I have opened that file and did a search for "mod". Shows nothing exept Chmod. Is it the same thing? I doubt it.. so do I need to add a new line in there to turn it off?)
