I am getting this bug when trying to post comments

Fatal error: Function name must be a string in /home/.japan/emilyjessie/twoeyeballs.com/art/zenphoto/zp-core/plugins/spamfilters/spamassassin.php on line 88

It is also coming up in the admin comments page, and I can't change the type of spam filter. It just keeps coming up as spamasssasin.

It would help if you told us a bit more. My recollection is that this is a bug in an ancient version of zenphoto, but since you haven't told us what you are running, can't be sure.

In that case the only advice we can give is to really update to the current version 1.2.2.
