ZenPress error - dorothyp - 2006-04-21

Hello,
I have installed ZenPress so that I could integrate my ZenPhoto galleries into my posts. But I am getting the following error when I try to add the ZenPress into an existing post:

ZenPress error. Check your configuration options

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi,

I have the following in the ZenPhoto base path: http://www.dorothyp.com/photos

The "autocompletion" of the admin path part is probably what's wrong... it's actually a server path to your /zen folder. You can usually see this in your FTP or SSH program. Mine is like /home/htdocs/user/photos/zen

I looked in my FTP program and the path is /public_html/photos/zen. When I put that into the admin path .. I still get the same error.

I promise there's more before the /public_html part. Keep looking.

I guess since I'm still new to the website stuff .. I don't see anything before the /public_html.

Here's another thought .. shouldn't I see my admin path stored in a file somewhere.

Yep, that's what I'm thinking...

Make a file called "test.php" in the zenphoto directory with this one line in it:

Then open a browser and go to the address of that file (like, http://www.dorothyp.com/photos/test.php) and look for the "SCRIPT_FILENAME" variable (should be in the "Apache Environment" section). That should tell you the path to the test.php. Just remove test.php and add /zen/ and that should be the correct path ZenPress needs.
