Link to main index fails - Boris - 2009-04-14

Greetings - My first post here as I've recently selected ZenPhoto to handle my online gallery and I've a couiple of teething issues.

Here's a link to my gallery:
http://wizitch.com/zenphoto/index.php?album=Photography

You'll notice the link to the main index (called Wizitch Image Galleries) at the top of the page fails. It points to 'http://wizitch.com/zenphoto/' which returns a 403 error. When I manually type this address ''http://wizitch.com/zenphoto/index.php' the page opens just fine.

Is there a line of code somewhere where I can simply add the 'index.php' (if so I've not found it) or is it a little more complex?

I'm using a copy of the default theme ('dark' colours) which has had minimal tweaks.

Other info that may help:
Zenphoto version 1.2.4 [3716] (Official Build)
PHP version: 4.4.6
MySQL version: 4.1.7

Note: When running Setup ZP says my server is not Apache compliant if that makes a difference.

I also have an issue with the image display settings - The full image protection does not allow any downloading of the full image unless set to unprotected - but I'll post seperately about that. I only mention it on the off-chance it may be relevent.

Thanks in advance
Boris (AKA Wizard)

How often do we spend 4 days banging up against a problem, finally asking for help on a forum only to promptly find an answer?!

I figured out a simple solution - I just deleted the code defining that link in my index, album and image .php's for that theme and inserted a linked image instead.

I'm quite pleased with myself for working it out!

Thanks
Boris

You should also look at your server configuration. It is likely that it is not configured to allow index.php as one of the "defult" pages for a URL
