Upgrading to 0.9 - snkhan - 28-09-2005
Hi guys,
Just installed 0.9 over my 0.8 installation, but am not sure whether I did manage to upgrade!
I replaced all the necessary files and re-uploaded the new config file (I couldn't see an immediate difference in .htaccess file, so I left my existing one up).
The admin.php still reports version 0.8, and the upgrade.php within the admin folder is blank.
It would be cool if the setup.php file could indicate that a successful upgrade has been performed, much like a phpBB update.

It is upgraded if you copied the files, I just forgot to increment the version number. ;-)
Since no database changes were needed for this release (and none yet have needed it) the upgrade.php is still blank. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the update tristan. It might be worth noting on the README that running the setup file again does not clear the tables. I was a little apprehensive at first running it as I had spent two hours adding descriptions etc, but I guess it's obvious once you explore setup.php
