Viewing larger image when editing images - krisjensen - 2009-07-26

I like to add tags by using the checkboxes on the edit image page in zenphoto administration. Before I upgraded to 1.2.5, clicking on the thumbnail image showed a larger version of the image. Now, clicking on the thumbnail brings up a thumbnail-cropping page.

Is there any way to view a large version of the image? To return to the previous behavior? (The clicking to bring up the thumbnail editor seems redundant, since there's already a Crop Thumbnails button in the utilities box.)

Also, a side effect of clicking the image (and going to the thumbnail editing page) is that all the tag checkboxes become unchecked (unless, of course, I remember to click Save Changes before clicking the image.

Thanks for your help.

Please no double posts. Sorry, currently there is no way to get the old behaviour back. I don't remember why we change it actually.

Easy workaround is to open that link in a new tab/window in your browser (STRG+left click in case unknown).

Sorry, I didn't mean to do a double post...in fact I didn't know that I had done that.

Is it possible to put in a feature request to get the old behavior back?

We have no intention of putting back the old behavior. As Acrylian said--use open in a new tab on the crop-image and you will have the larger image and the edit page.
