I have activated the search function and checked the appropriate search fields, but get the following error after entering a search term:

Zenphoto Error: the requested object was not found.
Page: search
Return to Galleries

Please always state the minimum info like Zenphoto version and which theme.

Sorry, I'm using 1.2.2 in a subdirectory, custom theme.

Did you try a standard theme? Generally 1.2.2 is pretty old. We can only support the current version due to lack of resources.

OK, I upgraded to 1.2.6, still the same problem when I search on a term that is known to exist.

To me it sounds like there's a problem with the .htaccess not directing to the search.php page correctly. Especially if you're certain that there's a search.php in your theme. Does search work with the "default" theme?

That might be a reason or the search.php is either missing or not setup correctly.
