I'm setting up my first album, and I want visitors to be able to add comments to each image. I thought that "allow comments" being checked (for the album and for the image itself) would do it, but there is nowhere for anyone to add a comment when I view the album. Is this not a feature, or am I missing something?

To allow visitors to comment, you need to do three things:

In the options for the comment_form plugin, enable the options to allow comments on whatever items you want and make sure that "Only members can comment" is disabled.

You must have "Allow comments" enabled for each item you want.

And lastly, your theme must have comments enabled as well.

The things Kagutsuchi said you needed to do are all from the Admin page. Your theme (ZenPage) supports this, so the steps you need to take are:

1. On the Plugins tab of the admin page, enable the comment_form plugin.

2. On the Options tab, go to the Plugins sub-tab. Or select the "Change plugin options" link from the Plugins tab above in step 1. On this page, set the options as desired.

3. On the Albums tab, if you want albums to be commentable (this means commenting on the album, as opposed to a specific image within the album), then ensure "Allow Comments" is checked for each desired album.

4. On the Images sub-tab of any Album you want images to be commentable in, then ensure that "Allow Comments" is checked for the image. I'm not sure if this always defaults to enabled, or only when the plugin is set to allow image comments, so you may have to do this for a lot of images, or you may not.

That should be all there is to it!
