change permission denied - djoel - 2010-05-18 I duplicated a theme and it was copied with chmod 777 all over. Now when I try to change the permissions with my ftp client it's not permitted. I also tried by cpanel. I'm wondering if this is a server issue. But I never had problems to change permissions before. Thank you for advise! change permission denied - sbillard - 2010-05-18 Well since Zenphoto is not the purveyor oserver security I would have to presume it is a server problem. Basically what seems to have happened is that Zenphoto is running on a different user than your FTP and your FTP user does not have master priviledges. change permission denied - djoel - 2010-05-19 That would mean that I couldn't change permissions of any folder. But it only affects the duplicated theme folders. I gonna contact my host as well. But if anybody has another idea... change permission denied - sbillard - 2010-05-19 More likely it only affects folders that Zenphoto has created which would include (but not be limited to) duplicated theme folders. Anyway, as I said, Zenphoto does not manage security on your server. If somehting is not working correctly it is a server configuration issue. change permission denied - djoel - 2010-05-21 As my host didn't replied yet, I resolved it by copying the theme manually via ftp. Thank you sbillard |
