News category in the url - Dexx - 2010-09-17
Hi all,
I'm using zenphoto gallery and I was wondering how to put the category of the news in the url?
I need someting like example.com/news/category-name/news-title
or better without news...
let's say example.com/sport/real-madrid
I know it can be done with htaccess but how?...
I'm using default page for news (news.php)

That's the standard news category link Zenphoto generates.
It might be possible to exclude the "news" but it acts as a keyword so that Zenphoto can't mistake the category (or article or page) name for an album. You can surely remove the "news", we have not tried this. I suggest to search the net about modrewrite and htaccess.
