A while ago, I tried to create a scalable theme that is inspired by Picasa Web albums. Scalable means that it should scale with the browser window's size. You can have a look at the unfinished theme here:

I started from the default theme and added a scrollbar (using jQuery) to cycle between thumbnail sizes. Additionally, AD Gallery[1] is used to display the images. This way, the browser doesn't need to reload the page when selecting a different picture, reducing wait times. Also, you don't need to scroll down every time to see the bottom part of a picture.

Unfortunately I currently don't have the time to finish this theme. Therefore, I thought I would make the theme available in its current state:

Some things that need improvement:

• When browsing the photos using AD Gallery, the URL keeps pointing to the first photo that was viewed. This makes bookmarking a particular photo impossible.
• The size of the photo being viewed (using AD Gallery) should adjust to the browser's window size on the fly (like in Picasa Web). Currently, the size is set when the page is loaded and can only change when the page is reloaded.
• Make it look good.

Thanks for sharing. We will add it to our theme section. Shall we label it "unsupported by author"? Good would actually be if you had a page with this info posted here...

Maybe someone takes it over or as a starting point which might be a good idea since you are using a quite ancient Zenphoto 1.2.7.
