albums folder location on separate server - formulae - 2011-05-04
Is it possible to have the albums folder stored on a different server from the main zenphoto php files? My pictures and video amount to over 1 gigabyte so far.
My ISP uses a cgi server for php scripts, but only allows a small amount of space (250MB) for this purpose. They have a main server for the file storage.
So I need to store the pictures and videos on their main server which will have a separate 'http://' address
Please tell me it can be done!!
Can I modify the scripts to do this?

No, it is not possible. But your ISP could certainly make a network storage drive available an set up a "sim link" for you.
Or you can search for a more reasonable ISP.
