So I am using the search function in zenpage theme that is applied to an album but the search.php being used for results is the of the default gallery theme? why is this?

Thanks for the help. I am behind a firewall so now help on posting a URL but here is what I am seeing:

When in an ablum with THEME zenpage and do a search for a image title
zenphoto version 1.4.3.1 [10590] (Official Build) THEME: zenpage (album.php)

I get this back
zenphoto version 1.4.3.1 [10590] (Official Build)
THEME: zpArdoiseZenPhoto 1.4.3

A result page with the zpArdoiseZenPhoto THEME that is the gallery default. The URL it sent me to is
http://192.168.1.1/zenphoto/page/search/
from my album of http://192.168.1.1/zenphoto/cruise-2012/

Any thoughts?

The urls you posted are correct. The only reason I can think of right now that you get a wrong theme would be an cache issue, be it browser or server. You can set specific album themes but those do not affect the search page. But maybe look if you set one somewhere accidentaly.

Do you use the html_Static_cache plugin? If so clear the cache and also that of your browser to see if that has any effect.

I never encountered this behavior myself and as far as I know we had no reports. It could also be your firewall affecting things (weird things happen often....).

Maybe my colleague has another idea later on.

Last question from me with the url of
http://192.168.1.1/page/search how does zenphoto know which album it is in and thus retrieve the correct theme search.php?

The search page is outside any album context. It just shows what you searched. The album themes I referred to are for album and image pages only.

So if i understand you correctly the seach theme will always be that of the gallery default (the behavior i am seeing)? it sounds that if the search page is outside the album it will not get the album theme as i would hope?

Yes, the search is not an album.

It should be possible to apply an album theme to a search that is based within the album. I suggest you submit a track ticket to request this feature.
