My sitemap used to work just fine but now I'm noticing a 500 error.
http://share.gospelriver.com/sitemap.php

I've done a few upgrades and haven't kept close track when it went down.

I saw a post about removing IndexIgnore * from htaccess but that didn't do anything.

I am using the sitemap-extended plugin.
Thanks.

Please review the documentation of the sitemap plugin. That is not the url to call the sitemap for quite some time now.

To add quickly: It is recommended actually to link to the actual cached sitemap index xml file within /cache_html/sitemap/sitemapindex.xml to lower server load. Just see that is missing there.

Thanks. I did notice the following message for 1.4.3.4 under sitemap tools also which was helpful, but if it still reads like this for the current version you might want to update that to suggest the link you mentioned also.

Additionally a sitemapindex file is created that points to the separate ones above. You can reference this sitemapindex file in your robots.txt file or submit its url to services like Google via www.yourdomain.com/zenphoto/index.php?sitemap

The sitemap cache is cleared if you create new ones. All files are stored in the /cache_html/sitemap/ folder.

The note is not really incorrect as that should work as well. But if you know the file exists you can link it directly instead as well.
