Why do Thumbnails load so slow in Tag Cloud & Archive view. The thumbs are all pre-cached. Shouldnt they load just as quickly as an Album?

What tag cloud and archive view? You mean search display? If that does not use the same sizes as albums (which is theme dependent again) that might be caching.

OK that's what it is. I didn't notice that the search thumbs are a bit larger, than the album thumbs.

I'm going to have to try pre-caching locally using Xampp. Arvixe is giving me hell for the resource usage that the caching process is causing on their server.

All official themes have (or should have) the same sizes. If your theme doesn't it needs some work.

Also make sure that you don't use big original images unnecessarily as that eats resources a lot.
