ok i tried to reinstall zenphoto about 100x now..i always get new error..i dont know what ive done wrong..
all i did is download the .ZIP from here and upload the ZIP to my hosting server. and extract it in there and rename it to GALLERY thats it, and now i dont know why the INDEX gonna have a problem..

Perhaps there was a problem with the upload. You should check the following files:
index.php

Did you look at the structure of the zip file? I am not at all sure what you renamed from your description. But what you should have done is create a folder named gallery and extract the Zenphoto files into it. Renaming something from the extract is bound to cause issues.

And, did you check on "index.php" and if so, what did you learn?

ok when i extracted it , it created the folder name
"zenphoto-zenphoto-1.4.4.3"

and i renamed that to gallery..thats all

what do u mean what did i learn? how do i check it? u mean check it using browser? or using notepad?

My colleague refered to things like if the file is in place and what it contains.

Just to be sure you did run setup after renaming the folder installed? If not that is of course causing issues as Zenphoto then does not know about that change.

Besides, the message you got is a warning that there "might" be something wrong. this is a securoty measure to make sure files have not been changed by a hack or something. But if you upload it might happen that the filedates don't match exactly and you get this message.

If you are sure you just uploaded the package as downloaded ignore it for now.

no i rename folders before i run setup..i have been using couple software out there and i know how the installation work..
and i also have a basic knowledge of mysql..

Again, the message about the file is a warning no error. It says it is possibly wrong but might not. If you know it is correct because you just uploaded it, ignore it.
