with latest rc2 built, I have something strange in admin>albums:
if I manualy change albums order, the first album of album list goes to the last place of album list.
I don't have this behaviour with rc1.

There have been general changes to the sortorder/direction the recent ticket 814 for news sorting was related to. So might be a missed bug there for the gallery items as well. Best you open a ticket.
