I did a search for "perception" and then viewed one of the images. I clicked on Edit Image in the admin menu and it went to the batch image edit instead of the single image edit and, even worse, none of the 10 images shown was the one I was looking at.

I'm using a theme based on Garland.

I think it should just go to the single image edit, of the correct image.

Actually, now it looks like if I view an image that's not on the 1st page of the album and go to edit it, I go into the batch edit mode with this first image of the album on the top. Hmmm..

This is freaky. Doesn't happen with all albums. The ones it does happen on, it always does. Looking for some kind of pattern.

Ok.. this is weird. If I am in batch edit mode, and set the amount to edit at say 10 images, if I then try edit an image that is the album's 12th image, it goes into batch edit mode.

If I set the batch amount to say 80 images (the most I have in one album), then the single edit image will open the correct image, and not be in batch mode.

Single Image edit should work regardless or independent of the batch edit images at a time mode, I would think.

Ok, with both of my galleries if I set the batch images count to the highest possible, the single image edit works for all albums and searches. I used a Cookie Editor to change the value.. since that seems to be where the value is stored. I'll create a github thing for this.
