it seems that documentation is not up to date.
for example, I can't find the function getSiteHomeURL() in http://www.zenphoto.org/documentation/elementindex.html although it is a part of template-functions.php

Thanks for the note, we indeed forgot to update it inbetween as only a few things changed since 1.4.6
