I have just installed zenphoto version 1.2.6 [4335] and created an album but there does not seem to be any way to add comments to photos in the album.

I have checked the admin settings as they are as follows:
enable comment notification: off (also tried it turned on)
spam filter: none

• action: pass
  require fields: name & email are checked

Album and Image General setting: allow comments - checked

So I can't see why it is not working, but it appears just like on the Zenphoto demo - plain vanilla with no comments...

I am using IE7 and Firefox 3.5.

You also need to turn on the comment_form plugin.

ah thanks, that did the trick. as they say "easy when you know how!"

you should think about putting together some basic end user guide, as all the documentation seems to be API related.
