First I'm a beginner(looser) in php, but understand the basic computer. I'm french so sorry for my rusty english.
The PROB: chmod can be applied througt my ftp soft (mac, transmit&cyberduck)
so lot of bug in strat page.

This is something you will have to take up with your Internet Service Provider. Zenphoto will not function properly if the `chdir()` function is not working. The error message you get indicates that your service provider has choosen to disable this function.
