I have already searched the forum but did not found a solution.
I am on a shared hoster and Apache runs on the standard ports.

Each time I try to run the setupt - either from www.pixel-wonders.de or www.pixel-wonders.de/zp-core/setup.php
I get only a blank page.
Server log only shows that the page has been accessed with Status Code 200.

I tried this multiple times with php versions 5.6, 7.0, 7.1 and 7.2. and it does not matter if its with http or https.
I see only a balnk page.

Any ideas what the problem could be?

There should be something in the PHP log. But it probably will be this constant issue: https://forum.zenphoto.org/discussion/1410106/issue-installing-zp-1-5-on-wamp#latest

the problem ist, that I do not have a config file:
zp-data/zenphoto.cfg.php

Because i am on a shared hoster, I only have access to the access.log file but not to the php log.

So this is a fresh install and no update? Then please copy the template file mentioned on the other topic to the root of your install, rename it to above and fill in the credentials manually.

Shared hosting is no isse. Even our site here is on a shared hoster actually ;-) We also have access to error logs if needed but they must be enabled specifially. But on existing sites there is also a ZP own debug log (which is not always as accurat as the server one).

copying the file to the root of the installation did not work. But copying it to zp-data does the trick :-)
