I updated and am performing the setup to check everything and am getting this error" permission on zenphoto.cfg.php are 0000 should be 0600. don't see anyway to upload a screen shot of my permission but they are 0600 (rw) but the error will not change

I cannot reproduce that correct permissions cause a persistent error. Perhaps owner etc is wrong?

You have to post your screenshot somewhere else as you did as we don't allow any upload here for various reasons.

as seen in the pastebin the owner is www-data should it be something else

As that screenshot tells the file cannot be copied/Created therefore permissions are 0000 as there is no file to have them. Did you manually copy the file as the error below tells?

If you did the owner is perhaps wrong but can't answer what the corect should be on your server. Some hosts use a different owner for FTP access and for actual script execution which causes all sorts of issues. Or the permisions are to strict for your server setting to work. Best you consult your host about that. Sadly not all behave the same with stricter permissions.
