I am using ZenPhoto 1.5.7 with Ubuntu Linux 18.04 and the Basic theme and can not find the upload link. here is my system info below

I have the plugin uploader_jQuery installed and enabled

Not sure what you mean with "upload link" but the upload page should be visible under Admin —> Upload —> [i]Images (jQuery)[/i]

I can see it for admin no problem, but for the user is where It is missing

An individual user can only see the [i]Upload[/i] tab if upload rights are assigned to him.
