Hi Folks,

I have a fair number of videos on my site, and I'd like to have them represented by a thumbnail in their respective indices. I don't see any way to create a thumbnail, but more importantly can't I create a thumbnail by selecting a frame from the video? How do I do this?

It is not possible to create an image from a video. That would require a very specific native setup of your server (no standard webhost supports this). You have to upload a screenshot as a so called sidecar image ("video thumb") manually: https://www.zenphoto.org/news/problems-with-albums-and-images
