Using "Refresh the Database" from the Overview tab, admin page :
problem with dynamic albums only,
all "Album Description" fields are reset (empty)

This is an old problem, maybe with Zenphoto 1.4, surely with Zenphoto 1.5 versions.
Today, using Zenphoto 1.6.

Sorry, just tried (1.6.1a locally) and cannot reproduce it. Check your logs please.

No error in my logs.

I also loose dynamic album title, dynamic album codeblock.
I use dynamic albums in different sublevel folders.

Here is what I do :
I use different tags,
I search for a tag,
I create a dynamic album from the search results page.
I edit the newly created dynamic album to fill fields.

My test dynamic album was by general word so I tried a specific tag. It should not make any difference, a search is a search. Sadly again I could not reproduce it, all data still there for me… Tested with current 1.6.1 on PHP 8.2 locally.

Please check the permissions on the .alb file.
