For managing several Zenphoto installs it would be great to be able to easily customize admin section, some basic features will go a long way:

• Upload custom logo
• Upload and position custom background
• Set custom background colour

it even can be done via inclusion of custom css for admin section.

Perhaps some of these with a major version at some time. But probably if via some options and not via custom CSS. The admin should be the same for all otherwise we easily get support issues.

Yeah, I think since realistically there are not a lot of space and elements to play with, it's better to go with those options and they give enough opportunities for branding.

I currently just replace basic logo image and admin.css, but you have to repeat it after each zenphoto update, which is not ideal for some use-cases...

As said perhaps via options on a major release. And the backend will be reworked anyway, so don't expect anything in the near future.

Btw, you can alreddy use the 'admin_head' filter via a plugin to add custom CSS for that if needed.
