Using zpBootstrap. I have a need for a special purpose gallery where there are no albums, just images, that display on the first page a user visits. I assumed if I place images in the "albums" folder they would display, but zpBootstrap does not display any images. Is this a bug, or is this by design?

Is there a work a around, such as using a home page? I'd rather not have to code a page for this purpose. Or can I adjust some settings concerning the root or home page for the images to show up?

Zenphoto organises images within albums always. So "by design" there must be at least one album.

There is no "option" for your purpose. It could surely be done with custom coding but even then an album is necessary and it may have disadvantages as it would be off the structure.

Workarounds are possibly (still you need one album):

• use the GalleryArticles plugin to create articles for each image and use news as the homepage. The theme must support that. If zpBoostrap does I don't remember.
• Just display the latest x images on the home page for a start so people land within the album from there. Might require theme customisation as well.
