This is a simple question, I hope. I have just started using Zenphoto on my site (www.thelostcoyotemine.com), and I have a need that doesn't present a simple solution I can find in the admin tools. I want to run multiple galleries fired from different links (only one is used at the moment), with artist specific materials. Do I need to run multiple installations of Zenphoto, or am I overlooking something very very simple?

Any information would be appreciated.

You have two choices:

1. completely separate zenphoto installations
2. Use of Albums with subalbums to contain your specific material and linking directly to the album of choice. If you do this you might also want to have album specific themes for the albums, a feature in the nightly build and the next release of Zenphoto.

I was thinking of something like this as well. My gallery will contain photographs, drawings, sculptures etc. A solution that came to mind (like sbillard's) was making manual links in a sidebar to each main album, and then deleting the sitetitle and gallerytitle (with link to the main index) in the breadcrumb navigation in the template files of my own theme. This way the collections seem completely seperated.
