This release is mostly a ton of bugfixes and continued improvements. One highlight: setup and upgrade are much improved.

It's a thing of beauty! (As is the site redesign itself!) Wonderful job.
I will say though that the install/upgrade info included with 1.1.3 is sorta sparse. The bits about renaming and modifying the config file and chmodding the album/cache directories were really helpful in previous releases. Did I miss something? Maybe the readme html doc should include a link to the user guide (which is very well done)?
Congratulations on making zenphoto even tighter.

With this release it is not necessary to rename and modify the zp-config.php file, so no notes about doing so are included. Same thing with the chmod of the album/cache folder.

Setup tries to take care of all these things. If it fails at doing it you will get the notices.

It's been a while since my last visit but I needed to upgrade my old cimi theme therefore just installed version 1.1.3. IT'S GREAT !! thanks to everyone on the development spree its a winner ! I'm really happy to see so much improvement and thanks for the time effort that went into making this release work like a charm... happy hollidays

Great job ZenPhoto team. I am downloading now and will upgrade over weekend.

By the way, is there a changelog for upgrading themes somewhere? I made a custom theme for my site. Thanks.

This is so beautiful. Zenphoto has become everything and more than I would have ever thought. Very very nice work, and I'm proud to see my design work still being used!

Hi Zenphoto community! I just want to say that I downloaded and installed the software no problem at all! [ I tried last year and couldn't get it to work ] The search and tagging functionalities are great and I look forward to seeing what else I can do with the program. Thanks for this!

Unfortunately, there is a sour note in upgrading to 1.1.3. The upgrade completely mangles all non-latin characters from image descriptions and comments. I've a couple of very angry users now because of that.

Same problem for me (and it is a big one !)

Previously, I just had to put "Iso-8859-1" in the administration dedicated menu (Cf. http://www.zenphoto.org/support/topic.php?id=1832&replies=6#post-10575 ) but now ... it doesn't work anymore ... regrettable regression. I hope you'll solve this quickly, as all galleries must be unactivated for now !

Alright guys.. I know I havent been around here much.. which is odd because I was here for the majority of the time while nothing was being developed and now stuff is moving and I am never here.. Demanding jobs will do that to ya..

Either way.. WOW!!. Talk about a smooth, quick, easy setup. All the problems from the past are gone. I didnt have to configure a rewrite base, define paths. The setup script is awesome. The admin interface has so much more. I did a double take at the zp-config file.

This is awesome.. absolutely awesome.

The website design is great as well.

Over the weekend I hope to upgrade all of my other galleries I have. If they all go as easy as this install, it should take no time.
