I upgraded from a 2 year old version to 1.1.3. Everything seems fine except the next and previous buttons. I'm a little baffled. No matter what pic I pull up, i only have a next button, which then always links to the same picture, no matter where I am when I click next. In fact I keep hitting next I go through the same 20 pictures, no matter where I started, and then at the same picture, the next disappears. So, any idea where I should start troubleshooting? I am using my own custom theme, so like I said, it's real old. I figure I just need to update some function file, or something.

No, sorry, I don't. Please just compare the code of your theme with one of the included standard themes (default theme for example) first to see if anything is completly different. Maybe you used some custom hacks that don't work anymore. The theme structur is not that difficult.

Thanks, I hear you. I did actually do a compare to the default theme, but I'll try to do it line by line. I had a feeling it was tied to the new mod rewrite though.

OK so I actually tried just switching to the default theme and I still have the problem. It's just the next and prev Image functions, have those even changed? My call to them is exactly what it is in the default theme anyway. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be or how I can try to narrow it down? No matter what picture I look at, the next link always goes to the same picture and goes into the same sequence of pictures afterwards, if you keep hitting next, which are not even in the same albums. I don't want to have to undo my upgrade but this is crucial functionality.

ok. I know this sounds preposterous...it is working now. I swear, I looked at it, tested it and messed with it on several different days. the only thing I can think now is that I did fix it and was looking at a cached version. Ugh. Thanks anyway!
