I want to include videos from Vimeo, how do I do that?
I have tried to copy and paste the embedded code from Vimeo, but it doesn't work.
Anyone lucky out there?

I've run into a similar issue when trying to embed vimeo into a zenPage.

The old vimeo code works:

I used it just fine. As the troubleshooting item linked above by acrylian says. Simply create a text file with the entire embed code from the vimeo video. Then upload it like you would an image. The thumbnail will show text, but when you goto the video it plays fine.

As you can see from the link above it works. If you're worried about the text in the thumbnail, follow the link from the above troubleshooting tip for creating a thumbnail for video.

I was trying to embed the vimeo vid directly into a zenpage, to avoid uploading text files etc but in the end I did try the method above and it works very well. I could probably use that zp resource in zenpage now anyway.

After several hours of beating my head against the wall experiencing the exact same issue as vsPiotr while attempting to embed the "new" Vimeo video into a page, I am faced with having to revive this thread. I am using ZenPhoto version 1.3, and have made multiple attempts at following the troubleshooting thread given above - except for the correct one. I have enabled the "class-textobject" plugin and uploaded the Vimeo embed as a .txt file into media (also ftp into a folder), but have been unsuccessful at getting it into the page with either the image or embedded media uploader from tinyMCE. I have even tried entering the embed code directly into the HTML window, but is disappears upon update. What am I missing besides (and including) the obvious? Anybody?

1. The class text object way described above works with any of these video sites. It is meant to be used as an image in an album then.

2. It would be possible to embeed the code into a Zenpage page directly you have to allow the special html tags like and/or specifically. See the options.
