You need to set the permissions correctly. See the troubleshooting guide.

Most FTP probrams will let you change permissions for groups of files.

Perhpas it is a security block in the (an) .htaccess file. You may need to contact your service provider for help on this one.

Update the above and the define in setup.php when you make changes to the rewrite rules!

NOTE: Change the RewriteBase below to the absolute path to your zenphoto directory. (Or let setup.php do it for you!)

RewriteEngine On

!!! Change this to the web path (eg: http://www.yourwebsite.com/photos --> /photos) !!!

RewriteBase /zenphoto

This seems to be the standard Zenphoto .htaccess file so it is not the cause of the problem. Is Zenphoto installed in the WEB root or in a sub-folder? If a sub-folder, look at the root and see if there is a .htaccess file there.

I'm sorry that Godaddy is not willing to support their customers. This error is from some kind of server configuration. We probably will not be able to guess what has been done.

Perhaps there are other Godaddy users on the forum who can help.

had the same problem too but canceled godaddy right now and switched over to domainfactory - works like a charm now.
